Abstract:
In August 1997, it became clear that the data in many publications by the renowned cancer researchers Friedhelm Herrmann and Marion Brach had been manipulated. These manipulations were uncovered by commissions which, after extensive research at Herrmann’s former sites of employment, drew the conclusion that all of his published work - as well as that of some frequently appearing co-authors - must be examined. The aim of our project was to execute this job.
