Abstract:
New prognostic criterias as Her2-new and factors of angiogenesis are evaluated in gynecologic carcinoma. Evaluation of clinical significance is done by correlation of different markers to established variables in prognostic and prediktive markers. Especially interest is headed on heatshock-proteins, TRAP and different markers of proliferation. In partnership with the clinic of nuklear medizin the topic of sentinel-node biopsie in patients with breast cancer is evaluated in a multicenter studie ( KISS ). In this question the differnt forms of tracer-application is from spezial interest. A very important topic is the participation in different german-, european and worldwide multicenterstudies focussing on the therapy of gynecologic cancer in adjuvant or metastatic settings. Another studie evaluates the possible use of fibrin sealants on reducing postoperative morbidity in patients undergoing axillary dissection.
The intention of theses investigations is to optimize the individual tumortherapie in gynecologic oncology.
