Assessment of myocardial viability by MR-spectroscopic imaging
Project management at the University of Würzburg:
Assessment of viability of acinetic myocardium is an important, yet
unsolved problem of current diagnostic methodology in human heart disease.
The aim of the this project was therefore to establish non-invasive
methods for assessment of myocardial viability. The following techniques
were investigated: 31P-MR-Spectroscopy (MRS), 23Na-imaging (MRI),
1H-imaging and fatty acid scintigraphy.
Projekt period: from 01.1996 to 03.2002
