Forschungsschwerpunkte (und Projekte auf Basis der Grundausstattung):
Ziel ist die Untersuchung linearer und nichtlinearer Regelungssysteme, sowie unendlichdimensionaler dynamischer Systeme.
Dabei werden die folgenden Themen untersucht:
- Nichtlineare Systeme auf homogenen Räumen
- Regelungstheorie numerischer Algorithmen
- Lineare Systeme
- Parametrisierungsfragen; Modulräume
- Unendlichdimensionale Systeme
- Systemapproximation
- Beobachtertheorie
Die Forschung wird durch Drittmittelprojekte (GIF, DAAD) sowie die Teilnahme
an grossen europäischen Netzen (NCN, CTS) unterstützt. Darüberhinaus bestehen vielfältige
internationale Kontakte (Konferenzbesuche,
gegenseitige Forschungsaufenthalte, Kooperationen) mit Kollegen aus Australien,
Belgien, Israel, Italien, Japan, Marokko, Mexiko, Portugal, Spanien und USA.
