Project management at the University of Würzburg:

Participating scientists:

The AOK Bavaria operates one of the largest enterprise networks,
so-called Intranet, in Germany. The system serves 12000
users, 300 locations and two large-scale computing centers. The
focus of the research project is on the management of large-scale
IP-based Intranets. Due to their size new methods for performance
management, configuration management, and fault management are
required. Furthermore, a comprehensive framework for a
demand-oriented and foresighted planning and management strategy
is developed.
