Abstract:
The aim and scope of the project is the further development of spectral theories for various classes of
nonlinear operators. A particular emphasis is put on applications to problems arising in physics,
mechanics, and natural sciences. This is achieved by means of an international collaboration, including
mutual visits, special workshops in Wurzburg and elsewhere, and joint publications with other specialists
from Italy, Russia, Belorussia, Switzerland, Scotland, Taiwan, Canada, and the United States.
