Socio-emotional development of gifted children in primary schools

This study focuses on the socio-emotional development of primary school pupils with special giftedness. The major issue lays on the role of extracurricular enrichment programs. Hence, the project is conceptualized as an evaluation of an enrichment program (Kinderakademie Mannheim), which is assumed to support the participating childrens social and emotional development.
