Subject-Art-Theory of Interest
Research approaches and conceptual considerations in ART EDUCATION concern
with the fundamental questions of esthetical interest development and the
promotion of esthetical interest in instruction of art o Against the background
of the Subject-Art-Theory of interest the general characteristics of esthetical
interest constructs were presented. At the center of the theoretical deliberations
stand the principles of a functional theory of esthetical interest genesis which
are not only explained through the alterations in development, but also on the
basis of individual and social creations and interesting experiences. A postulation
is made that the addition to the cognitive-rational and self-reflecting components
of the formation of divergent thinking and creative intention, the qualities of
experience gained through actions taken also plays a central role. Emotional
experiences have a central role. Emotional experiences have a special significance
with respect for perception of self competence, esthetical autonomy and social
relationship.
