Abstract:
The Peroxidase-Oxidase(PO)-Reaction is a nonlinear reaction system which de
scribes the enzymatic oxidation of NADH to NAD+ with oxygen via radical spe
cies in an autocatalytic reaction cascade.We measured phase response curves
and the coupling of PO oscillators via mass flow and we successfully applie
d various methods of chaos control. Computer simulations using various mech
anisms were in agreement with the experiments.
