Abstract:
The goal of this project is the investigation of the adsorption behaviour of special selected proteins on various implant materials by means of various different spectroscopical methods. The spatial distribution of the proteins on the implant surface has been investigated with laser scanning microscopy, force field microscopy or a combination of both. Fluorescence correlation spectroscopy has been used to investigate the dynamical behaviour of fluorescence marked proteins. The secundary structure of the non adsorped proteins has been determined with the help of Raman spectroscopy. The spectroscopical investigations have been extended by in-vitro investigations. Furthermore structured titanium surfaces as well as copper and silver surfaces were characterized with fluorescence and Raman spectroscopy.
