Title:
Theoretical description of coupled electronic and nuclear dynamics beyond adiabatic approximations
Project management at the University of Würzburg:
Participating scientists:
Abstract:
The dynamics of electrons and nuclei in ultra-intense laserfields exhibits
many new physical phenomena. Using a theoretical description which treats
the electronic as well as the nuclear degrees of freedom quantum mechanical
ly, processes like multiple ionization or higher-harmonics generation could be characterized.
Key words:
quantum dynamics
non-adiabatic effects
double ionization
high harmonics
